I have had the last week off and it has been wonderful! No work.. I’ve hardly on the computer.. lots of family, food and Christmas shopping! If you follow my blog maybe you remember this post.. well, I followed through and signed up for a 5k on Thanksgiving morning. My few of my family members and friends ran too. Let me just say.. when my alarm went off that morning, I was wondering why on earth I thought it was a good idea. It was cold and early.

My cousin Leah and I had our little ones run a little race too. It was just after our run while we were waiting for the awards. It was so cute.. the kids were running around like wild animals. They each got a little medal to wear but Carter wouldn’t pose for a picture with his!
My Dad took third in his age category and won a pumpkin pie from Costco! #heisarockstar
We had a lot of fun! Even though it was a little chilly at first, once the sun came out
and we all got going, it was a lot of fun. I’ve run plenty of 5k’s and I was quite surprised by the turnout! It was a lot of fun and I’m glad I did it.
