A few days ago Andy and I attended his Student Clinician ceremony. Medical school is four years long with the first two years being grueling book work and the last two years spent doing rotations at a hospital or clinic. We are on the last week of his second year and are moving to Oregon next week to start his rotations. Their ceremony was to celebrate all the students moving from book work to clinical work and we are very excited about the transition. The last two years have been nothing short of difficult, we are really looking forward to what the future has in store for us. Ending the year with this ceremony and talking about the next steps in Andy’s education brought hope and excitement for us. We are both looking forward to Andy having more time with us and are SO happy to be stepping away from the long hours of studying. It was a really good moment to spend focusing on everything Andy has accomplished the past two years and say goodbye to all of our friends that we have made along the way. We are sad to leave Washington because we have really grown to love it here but I know that we have a lot to look forward to. This was a beautiful way to end to our time here and I’m happy to have this handsome man by my side through all of our adventures. I love you Andy and I’m so proud of you!
