Andy’s schedule keeps him so busy right now. Studying is a huge part of his life and there is rarely a full day off. On Saturday he took most of it off and spent it with us. We didn’t have any big plans but it was perfect. A date to the park with our kids, a nice home cooked Valentines Dinner and all of us snuggling up on the couch to watch a movie. It was simply perfect.
The night before I did put out some little Valentine’s gifts for my family to wake up to. Carter is obsessed with anything Ninja Turtles and Carly just likes to have whatever Carter has. I went to our Dollar Store and got a few little gifts for them. (Except the Ninja Turtle and Minnie Mouse bubbles.. those are from Wal-Mart)
Their faces the next morning were priceless. Andy’s gift idea was from this blog right here . It was super simple to put together, just don’t laugh at the Lightening Mcqueen wrapping paper, it was the only paper I had! It really turned out to be a good weekend, one I know I’ll remember.
