So, I work for an airline. Not just any airline, I work for Jetblue. I love my job. I love that I work from home, I love my hours, I love traveling around.. It’s a perfect job for me. {I wrote a little bit about it here}
This past week we have been so affected by the hurricane Sandy.. In the past few days over 1,700 of our flights have been canceled. If you have called into Jetblue about your canceled flight you may have been talking to me 😉
With all the overtime and extra hours I’ve been working this week to help our customers, it is safe to say I am ready for vacation! But with talking to all my customers I’ve been hearing first hand the damage that has happened to the East Coast and the Caribbean Islands. I hope everyone is safe and I hope the recovery is quick and that power is turned on soon for everyone!
I love this picture that has been floating around Facebook. Brought an instant smile to my face 🙂 I’m so glad the storm has finally passed.. We are in the recovery phase right now for our airline and although our phone lines are ringing off the hook, I know that the people affected by the hurricane have it way worse than I do. I hope the best for them and everyone that was affected.
