When I was a little girl, every Easter I wore a cute hat. My mom always had matching ones for me and my sisters. I went to Target a few weeks ago and I was thrilled when they had these darling little hats for girls in the dollar spot. Even better is that my daughter will keep them on her head! I’m not even close to dressed in Easter colors.. I had a cute dress that I had planned to wear, but that morning of.. I just wasn’t feeling it.
Easter turned out to be such a beautiful day. It was spent with great people, good food and of course my two favorite little people. Every holiday is 100x better with kids. They understand egg hunting now and it makes it so much more fun for them and me. I love playing the Easter bunny and surprising them with goodies. My husband is a lot better than I am about reminding the kids.. and me.. what the holidays are really about. I tend to get caught up in the decorating and fun side of it. I’m grateful for my family and our Savior this Easter and that I’m lucky enough to be with them forever. Happy Easter everyone!
