I never wake up to my phone vibrating. Never. But, yesterday I did. I rolled over and saw that it was my husband calling.. He let me know that his car broke down and he was going to walk to school. He had stopped to put gas in the car and when he was finished, he put the key in the ignition and it wouldn’t start.
I am NOT a morning person. I do not function in the morning. So when I was on the phone with him, half awake and he told me he was going to just walk to school it sounded like a good idea to me, because I had no idea what was going on (remember, I’m half alive at this point.) He just wanted to let me know so that I could get a tow truck and take care of all that fun stuff. I hung up and looked at the time on my phone.. 5 a.m!!! I remember thinking.. sweet, I still have so much time to sleep! Yep, wife of the year award right there…
