So.. We got evacuated from our house on tuesday the 3rd.. We had big plans for the 4th of July and were only about half way packed for it. When the fire happened we just had to leave with what we had ready.
Despite everything going on at home, we still made the best of it and had ourselves a great time. After packing up a few last things, we grabbed some tents and sleeping bags and headed straight up to the Badlands in Wyoming a little bit early than expected.

All the rest of our family that hadn’t been evacuated, left on the 4th early in the morning and met us all up there 🙂

My little guy started out the day with pants on, but sometime in the middle of the day when it got really hot, they somehow disappeared!
Such a boy!
Carter is 20 months old and if someone starts this 4-wheeler he knows how to gas it by himself!
My parents have lots of 4wheelers but this one we have had since I was young.. My Dad was going to get rid of it and then quickly realized how much Carter loves it and is almost big enough to ride it by himself.. so it’s safe to say my Dad is keeping it for him 😉

My husband got a Go-pro Camera for his birthday a few weeks ago and this was his first time really using it.. After wrecking a few times he had to check out his footage!

Crazy Sisters!
All in all we had about 40+ of us family members that traveled up to Wyoming for this fun filled day!
We only had
1 concussion, 1 broken arm, 1 brand new 4 wheeler get totaled, 2 times that the 4 seater got rolled, and one big accident and yet through all of that, we still can’t wait to go back next year!!
