I have been compensated by the JOHNSON’S® Brand for this post; however, I am sharing my own thoughts. All opinions are my own.
As a mom of 3 children, I am no stranger to having JOHNSON’S® Baby products in my home. I have been a fan of their baby soaps and lotions since my first born and have always appreciated that their products are mild and safe for our kids. I noticed that not only were their products great for children, there were also a lot of practical ways that I could use them as well. I am sharing a few ways that I use them for my own beauty routine and why I love them!
Dry Skin & Cracked hands and feet
Since moving to Utah last month, my skin has dried up so much. After I do the dishes or wash my hands, I use the JOHNSON’S® Baby Oil and rub it generously on my hand for moisture and to prevent cracking. I have also been at the pool a lot this summer and noticed my heels starting to crack. I rub the baby oil on my feet and then put a pair of socks on at night to lock in the oil. I will wake up with baby soft skin!
Make-Up Remover
JOHNSON’S® Baby Oil is also great for use as a makeup remover. Oil is great at removing stubborn makeup, eyeliner or mascara. I use a small amount on a cotton ball or cotton round and it will easily take off your makeup!
Shaving
I actually use two products for shaving. I love to use the JOHNSON’S® Lavender Baby shampoo as a shaving gel because my razor glides easily on my skin and the smell is amazing! When finished showering and shaving I use the JOHNSON’S® Baby Oil. I will put a pea size of JOHNSON’S® Baby Oil in the palm of my hand and rub in into my skin. Trust me on this one, your skin will feel hydrated and silky smooth.
Dry Shampoo
I have been using JOHNSON’S® Baby Powder in my hair since high school. There are days when your hair feels a little bit oily and the baby powder will easily make your hair feel and smell fresh. My hair tends to get oily near the roots, so I will lightly sprinkle the baby powder on the roots on my hair and rub it in. It works better than any dry shampoo I’ve ever used.
Makeup Brush Cleaner
A simple, cost-effective way to clean my makeup brushes is to use JOHNSON’S® Lavender Baby Shampoo. I use one tablespoon of the baby shampoo and mix it with one cup of water. I will dip my brushes into the soapy water and swirl it around. Once clean, I remove the excess water and lay them out to dry. Once dry, they always smell better and feel great for the next use!
Face Refresh
With summer in full swing, I have been outside in the sun a lot chasing kids around. Not going to lie, I can get pretty sweaty. I have been carrying the JOHNSON’S® Baby Hand and Face Wipes in my purse for when my face needs to feel refreshed. A quick pat down with one of their wipes on my face helps keep my skin from breaking out.
Have you ever used JOHNSON’S® baby products for yourself? Which one are you wanting to try? Next time you are at Walmart, don’t forget to grab these products for yourself!
