Maternity Sunday Style – 26 weeks

I’m surviving this pregnancy so far.   I always have a hard time relating to all the people who approach me and tell me how much they miss being pregnant.  I am excited to be adding to our family and love newborns, but being pregnant isn’t my favorite thing.  It can be really rough on your body and it’s frustrating to look in your closet and feel like nothing fits quite right.  I’ve been told that each pregnancy will feel like it’s going faster because you are so busy with your kids and will be surprised at how fast it goes.  I agree and disagree with that saying.  It’s hard to keep up with your kids while pregnant so it feels like it’s dragging on to me but even though it feels long, I’m surprised each week to see how much I’m progressing and how much closer we are to my due date.
I’m past the point of wearing any of my normal clothes anymore and I’ve started to get some quality maternity pieces.  I wore this beautiful floral dress today and I can’t say enough good things about it.   I’ve been able to wear it comfortably all day because the fabric is breathable and holds its shape so well.  I also love the length of the dress and sleeves for summer and fall.  I also feel really good wearing it and I think that’s what is important.  Just because you are pregnant doesn’t mean you can’t look fabulous!
