Little Sidekick

Carter leaves our house for Kindergarten around 8:35 am every morning and we pick him up at 3:50 pm.  It’s a long day for him and it leaves just Carly and I for almost the whole day.  She is my little side kick and rarely leaves my side.  When I’m getting ready, she is right there next to me trying to do her hair and makeup too, if I’m wearing sunglasses, she’ll run and find hers, If I’m doing the dishes, she wants to be up on the counter helping.  When Carter was a baby, he was so much fun and I thought it would be fun to have all boys.  It wasn’t until I had Carly that I really realized how lucky I am to have one of each.  Motherhood can be crazy hard but also crazy fun.  It’s been a rough week for Carly and I because I have been trying to ween her completely of her beloved pacifier and we have been trying out potty training.  Neither one has been a complete success but we’re working on each of them slowly and making progress.

We’re headed to the pumpkin patch this weekend and my kids and I are pretty excited. We also have some fun plans next week that I’m really looking forward to that I’ll share more about later!  Anyways, Happy Wednesday!
